In addition to the luxury sloop, saloon boat and large boats incl. kapitein offers Event on the Water for small groups a small electric sloop without a captain. This way you can discover the city from the water at your own pace, without a fixed sailing route and without tight planning.
You can rent the small sloop for 2 to 8 people. A license is not necessary: the boat sails electrically, is light and easy to control, and remains below the legal speed limit. You will receive a short instruction from the landlord about the operation, a map with the most beautiful variants and the sailing rules on the Amsterdam canals. Then you get on board and decide for yourself how long you sail and which direction you take.

Event op het Water has several boat rental locations in Amsterdam. The fixed boarding locations are at Ruijterkade 14 and Oosterdokkade 8, both near Central Station. For the large passenger boats, the boarding location is on the north side of Central Station. For sloops and saloon boats, the boarding location is on the south side or at a floating jetty in the city.
Would you like to board at the Rijksmuseum, the Westerkerk, The Okura hotel or another location? You can. In consultation with the sales department, you can often get on almost any Quay in Amsterdam. This way you can adjust the cruise exactly to the place you are sailing to. A departure from your office, restaurant or home address is sometimes also possible.
On departure you will get an explanation of the route, the boat and the crew. During the cruise, the experienced skipper gives a short presentation about the sights and answers questions. For large groups we add a master of ceremonies.

On departure you will receive a short personal explanation from the skipper.
Can I bring my own drinks?
