What's on the cocktail list?
The bartender works on board with fresh ingredients and shakes the classics to order. Think of a mojito, an espresso martini, a pornstar martini, an aperol spritz, a moscow mule and a gin-tonic with Dutch gin. A private signature cocktail with the name of the birthday person or the company composes the bar on request.
Mocktails and alcohol-free
Each cocktail on the menu has a non-alcoholic variant. The bar also serves unlimited soft drinks, coffee and tea. Indicate the number of non-alcoholic guests at the request, then the galley will take additional ingredients on board.
On-board cocktail workshop
During a workshop, the company itself shaked. The bartender explains the basic techniques and each guest makes two cocktails under guidance. The workshop lasts 45 minutes and works well as an icebreaker during teambuilding in Amsterdam.
Snacks for cocktails
Cocktails taste better with something. Snacks, a tapas package or a walking dinner can be added per person. The kitchen takes into account dietary and allergy wishes, including vegetarian, vegan and halal.

Most cocktail tours in Amsterdam leave at a fixed time with separate tickets, where you share a sofa with strangers. At Event op het Water you rent the whole boat. Your company determines the departure time, the route and the music.
The minimum is 10 people. Under that number, the costs of skipper and crew weigh too heavily per person, so Event on the Water refers to individual tickets. Above 70 people, the tour sails over the IJ instead of through the canals.
The cocktail boat Amsterdam is popular for a bachelor party in Amsterdam, a birthday or one company outing. The bar serves alcohol from the age of 18, and the staff checks the age on board.

The boarding Place follows from the chosen route. These four locations are the fixed starting points:
- Amsterdam Central Station: Prins Hendrikkade 33A, a 3-minute walk from the station.
- Anne Frank House: Prinsengracht 267, in the middle of the canal belt.
- The IJ: Ruyterkade 14, departure point of the large ships.
- Rijksmuseum: Museum bridge, useful for a program in the museum quarter.
Getting on and off at different places is possible. Indicate the desired location with the request, then the sales department will coordinate the route accordingly.

Yes, the tour continues in any weather. All boats are covered and heated. The roof opens as soon as the sun comes through. Only in extreme weather the boat does not sail, in consultation with the sales department.
Is there a minimum age on board?
The bar serves alcohol from the age of 18. Guests under 18 sail along and drink mocktails or refreshments. The catering staff checks the age on board.
Where does the cocktail cruise leave?
From Prins Hendrikkade 33A at Amsterdam Central Station, Prinsengracht 267 at the Anne Frank House, Ruyterkade 14 at the IJ or the museum Bridge at the Rijksmuseum. The choice depends on the route and the boat.
How far in advance do you book a cocktail cruise?
At least 2 weeks in advance in the high season. The weekends in June, July and december are first fully booked. Event op het Water responds to a request within 24 hours with the current availability.
