What's on the tapas shelf?
The tapas package combines cold and hot Spanish dishes that the experienced catering staff prepares and serves on board. Think of serranoham, manchego, chorizo, marinated olives, gambas, albóndigas, patatas bravas and tortilla. We put together vegetarian, vegan and halal variants on request; please let us know your dietary requirements at the request.
In terms of drinks, there is nothing missing on the tapas boat. Our bartenders and barmaids are happy to prepare a drink for you. Would you like a glass of fresh, or rather a beer or a wine? The Dutch bar is unlimited and is included in the price as standard. You can add a glass of Spanish cava or a pitcher sangria as an upgrade, to match the tapas.
You can eat the best tapas in Amsterdam on the water
You can eat Tapas in Amsterdam in dozens of restaurants, but no tapas bar offers the view of the canal belt. On the boat you can taste the same dishes, with the skinny Bridge, centuries-old warehouses and the Westertoren as a backdrop. We therefore do not serve the best tapas in Amsterdam on a street, but sailing along the most beautiful places in the city. In theory it is possible to rent a boat for fewer people, but in our experience that is a bit small. In addition, the costs are not in the extra people who go with you. The people in your company probably still know someone who would like to come along!
What kind of boat is the Amsterdam tapas boat?
We have many boats and there are different types. Which boat you sail with depends on the number of people you take with you. Of course, we do not welcome you on our ship for 700 people if you are looking for a tapas boat for 20 people; we choose a smaller boat. In most cases, there is both indoor and outdoor space and the roof of the boat can be opened or closed, so that your event does not fall into the water during rain.
Amsterdam cruise with tapas and drinks
A cruise in Amsterdam is fun, but a cruise with tapas and unlimited drinks is of course much more fun. The food is prepared by the experienced catering staff of Event op het Water. Therefore, eating tapas on our boat is completely different than if you were to organize it yourself: we completely unburden you and your company.
