We are also the perfect choice for a corporate drinks reception for 100 guests on the River Maas in Rotterdam. The man behind Event op het Water is Tom Adolfsen
About Himself:
I logged my first flight hours on board with the largest shipping company in Nederland als partymanager.
For years, I have worked on various boats and led numerous cruises throughout the Netherlands—whether for a corporate event or a large-scale commercial gathering ranging from 2 to 700 guests.
I have gained extensive experience in boating and everything that entails—including the various possibilities available on board. I noticed a need for someone who works closely with the client and truly understands what is required. Many shipping companies are simply too large and impersonal. This is precisely where I aim to distinguish myself, placing my focus on personal attention and tailored solutions.
After completing my higher professional education in Media and Entertainment Management, I spent several years working as a business manager in various hospitality establishments in Amsterdam to gain experience and observe other major entrepreneurs, in order to learn the finer points of the trade.
In 2017, I launched Event op het Water. I now collaborate with 12 shipping companies and have access to over 150 boats available for rent. Thanks to strong visibility on Google and social media, Event op het Water has become the largest player in the brokerage sector throughout the entire Benelux region.
