The regular starting point is the Bierkade in the center of The Hague, near the Binnenhof. Easily accessible by public transport (The Hague CS and tram stop Spui are within walking distance) and by car, with parking in the immediate vicinity. Get on and off at the same place, so guests can easily bring and take their gifts.
For less mobile guests, a quiet entry is possible with the guidance of the catering staff. For grandpa, grandma or pregnant guests, a pre-booked quiet seat is available on board.

Work with a local baker who bakes a custom birthday cake. Personalized with name, age or a theme. The cake is brought on board and handed out at the right time by the catering staff. Plan: after about 45 minutes of sailing, when the company sits and sings. Please indicate the wishes in the request for quotation.
Drinks (basic)
Unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea throughout the cruise, with optional snacks, a snack board or bitter garnish. Suitable for birthdays with a short sailing time of 2 to 3 hours.
Dinner package (extended)

Yes, the sloop will be decorated with balloons, garlands or age numbers on request. For milestone birthdays or theme parties. Pass on your wishes when requesting a quote, the catering staff will put the decoration on before you get off.
Does the birthday sloop sail in the evening?
Yes, evening cruises are a popular option for birthdays. The canals of The Hague and the Binnenhof are then illuminated and the atmosphere is extra festive. Departure is possible until approximately 22: 00, depending on the municipal rules.
Is a birthday in winter also possible?
Yes, the boats are covered and heated. A birthday in december, January or February is quite possible. The atmosphere changes: less open deck, more cosiness inside with the heating on and a hot chocolate arrangement optional.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance, especially for weekends in high season. In the week in between, later bookings are often still possible. Our consultant will check the availability within 24 hours after your request for quotation.
